The Gary Cooper Combo
Formed in 1986 as a side project to the Iguana Foundation, but became full time in 1987. People would ask "Do you really play country music?" in disbelief, but you could see them dancing on the tables once they got to see their cow-punk live performances. Heavily influenced by Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Nick Cave, Tom Waits and 70's punk rock. They broke up in 1991 and the members went on to form Bob Hund and Foundation. In 2001 Gary Cooper made his comeback. For more information please visit www.garycooperweb.com
