Lars Krantz

The Iguana Foundation

In 1984 Lars Krantz and childhood friends Klas Blomstrand (guitar), Pelle Strandberg (vocals), and Crister Wolff (bass) formed The Iguana Foundation and began playing the Stockholm club circuit. They landed a deal with Harry Byrne's Eternal Love Records, but broke up in the midst of recording their album, due to internal problems and the poor finances of their label. Their influences were 70's punk rock, the Velvet Underground, the Stooges, Bowie, Roxy Music and Billy Idol.

Singles

Turn Around (Guyana 1985), Lonesome Traveller (Eternal Love Records 1986), Oh Isn't It Great (Eternal Love Records 1987).
