The Iguana Foundation

In 1984 Lars Krantz returned to Stockholm. He and childhood friends Klas Blomstrand (guitar), Pelle Strandberg (vocals and guitar), and Crister Wolff (bass) formed The Iguana Foundation and started playing the Stockholm club circuit. They landed a deal with promoter Harry Byrne's Eternal Love Records, releasing three singels. They broke up in the midst of recording their album, due to internal problems in the band and the poor financial situation of their record label. Their influences were 70's punk rock, the Velvet Underground, the Stooges, David Bowie, Roxy Music and Billy Idol.

Singles

Turn Around (Guyana Productions 1985), Lonesome Traveller (Eternal Love Records 1986), Oh Isn't It Great (Eternal Love Records 1987).
